Women’s Filmmaker Brunch | A Sunny Success

IT WAS THE LARGEST brunch anyone could recall: Three hundred patrons soaked up the sunshine Sunday and spread a glow of film-loving friendship during the annual Reel Affirmations Women’s Filmmaker brunch. Alero set out a festive fiesta and turned over the restaurant, cafe and terrace to our event. Afterwards at Lincoln Theatre, a large crowd applauded their appreciation of our honored guests, enjoyed the film Laughing Matters...More, and, of course, plotted their week of film-viewing and get-togethers. RA16 wraps up Saturday with the screening of Puccini for Beginners, a romantic comedy about a woman and her choices in love.
