1. Why was there no Reel Affirmations in 2010?

With the recession, dontations were down and several large grants, which Reel Affirmations received in the past including one from the city, were not received. The time off has allowed us to regroup and secure large sponsors and individual donations.

2. Will I have to wait until October for Reel Affirmations programming?

No. We plan to have a significant amount of programming this fall. In October, we plan on screening a few films in the week that we used to have the festival, including a major feature on Saturday, October 16 — an award-winning film — and then the following Friday, two other important films as well. Beginning in November, Reel Affirmations plans to reinstitute "RA Xtra," a monthly screening series that we did for a very long time.
