BOB MOULD Acoustic Set

Well-known for his Blowoff dance parties, Bob will play a brief acoustic set after 11:45 am screening of Circle of Friends.

RA17’s Closing Night Party

  • 10 pm-midnight
     Nellie’s Sports Bar

Toast another wonderful film festival and learn the winners of the audience balloting. DETAILS

11:45 am, Circle of Friends. We should all have such talented, musical friends as these, Bob Mould, Richard Morel, Brendan Canty and Jason Narducy. This concert film was shot at DC's 9:30 Club. Sponsored by Nellie’s Sports Bar.

2 pm, Many Po. What is it about the Philippines and their hilarious and wacky gay flicks? Three brothers (one gay, one maybe on his way to gay), a mother who mortgaged the house for jewelry, and a boyfriend who must be kept happy—mix well and bake in tropical heat. Serves laughter to a full house. Sponsored by Abstract Decor and Solutions by Scott. Community partner: Asian/Pacific Islander Queers United for Action.

4 pm, Oh Happy Day. Gay romantic comedy gets a tweak with the leads mixing business and pleasure, and completely, naturally out. Sponsored by LOGOmotion inc. Community partner: Straight 8s Car Club.

6 pm, Itty Bitty Titty Committee." Don't let the cute in the title fool you. From the director of But I'm a Cheerleader, this film's farce is cut through with cynicism, but the film also features Guinevere Turner. Sponsored by B.O.I. Productions, GO! Magazine and Pizzeria Paradiso.

8:15 pm, CLOSING FILM: The Walker (pictured above). Set in DC with an all-star cast led by Woody Harrelson, Kristen Scott Thomas, Lauren Bacall and Lily Tomlin, directed by "Boogie Nights" Paul Schaeffer, and a mystery made for conspiracy theorists everywhere. Who could ask for more? Sponsored by DIAGEO, I•Gorman Jewelrs, weknowdc.com Realtors, Solutions by Scott, Tylenol PM and Universal Gear.
